The T-Tech doesn't use anything electric for exchanging fluid. That's the ONLY machine I would want hooked up to my transmission. Since most OE transmissions hold less than 12 qts.and the machine holds 14.that's 2 extra quarts that cycle through so that MOST (98-99%) all the fluid has been replaced. Since the engine is running, the torque converter is also flushed. The fluid level inside the transmission NEVER changes during the exchange. What makes it better? The absolute best (if there is such a thing) ATF exchanger is a 1st generation T-Tech machine. Too many risks with one with a 'helper pump' or evacuator. Click to expand.I'm pretty sure you don't want a 'power fluid exchanger'. While holding the brake so that the wheels DO NOT turn, shift through all of the gears slowly- 10 seconds each gear.
